I was hoping I found an workable solution to having my WP clients not have to buy into 3rd party services. The configuration and setup for building an Auto-responder sequence (scheduled) is a bit cumbersome. This is a common, widely used aspect... why make it so messy with scripts and custom filters. Maybe looking at how the other folks are doing it might provide some insight for the next release. Certainly on the right track here and I commend you for that.
